Help writing an essay on tepees? (10 pts. to best answer!)?
November 30th, 2009 . by AB KinneyI have to write a 3 page essay on tepees – is that how you spell it? – and I’m not sure where to put stuff. Cover page – done. That’s the easiest. But the thesis and bibliography? Do you think that is included in the 3 pages? And does the thesis have it’s own page?
I will give 10 pts. to whoever answers all of my questions and/or whoever best answers them!
The Plains Indians’ summer home was the Tepee and it has many other names. They were portable, easily set up and taken down and only used on the trail. The rest of the year, during the winter months, the members of the different tribes lived in permanent housing at the edge of the Great Plains. The bibliography on this particular topic is fairly easy to do but it depends on your teacher as to what format. If you are in high or middle school then you can use the MLA format. Otherwise check with your teacher and see if they prefer APA, Chicago (CM), MLA or etc.

Thesis: Not only were teepees versatile and home for many Native American tribes, they were a way of showing culture and spirit.
